The National Theatre Company of China is the state performing arts organization of the People’s Republic of China. It was founded on Dec 25, 2001 combining former China National Youth Theatre and China National Experimental Theatre.
With a number of talents in performing arts, the Company offers a platform where tradition meets modernity and state-of-the-art performance is pursued to nurture theatrical masterpieces.
The National Theatre Company of China is entitled to present both Chinese and foreign dramas of excellence by exploring both classical and experimental forms of theatrical arts.
The Company will establish and improve its management system, explore new forms and areas of performing arts, and endeavor to offer an open stage where more theatrical talents with new and excellent productions will emerge.
The president of NTCC is Zhao Youliang, with vice-president including Yan Fengqi, Wang Xiaoying and Zha Mingzhe. Assistant president Luo Dajun. Yang Zongjing is the general art supervisor.
